    header image overlay opacity

    Resolved

    Oliver,

    I found the CSS to completely remove the overlay on the header image and that works fine, but is there a way to change the opacity of the overlay?

    Thanks,
    Mark

    Hi Mark,

    Here is the default CSS, please adapt it to your needs in your custom CSS:

    .intro-special .wp-custom-header::before {
    	background-color: rgba(0,0,0, 0.6);
    }

    To find out the styles you need to override in the theme, please try using your browser code inspector.

    Oliver,

    The CSS you provided works perfectly. I wanted to lighten the opacity just a touch so changed the default 0.6 to 0.4.

    Thank you so much!

    Mark
