mod security trigger of rule id:211540

My site is getting shut down all the time. My host said to contact you because of this trigger. They said the trigger is critical so they cannot disable the rule.

    Hi flavortube,

I’m sorry but I don’t understand why your host suggest it is a theme error. From the error code you have provided I can not see any reference to Auberge theme whatsoever. Could you please ask your host to provide more info why they think this is Auberge theme related, and provide error log file?

The error code seems to be related to your navigation menu item pointing to So, first I suggest checking that page and also your menu in WordPress admin (maybe disable the menu to see if that helps – that way you will know the issue is with the menu).

    Additional suggestions:

    • Make sure you are using the most recent Auberge theme version, which is 2.3.0 as of now.
    • Try to disable all plugins to see if the issue is coming from one of them.
    • Enable WordPress debug to see if it throws any errors.
    • Make sure you are using the PHP 7.
    • Make sure your PHP is set up properly.
    • Try to switch to other theme, such as Twenty Seventeen, to see if it helps. If this works please provide admin access to your website so I can check what’s wrong with your website when you are using Auberge theme.

    Best regards,
