    Hi Oliver –

    1. I installed the Reykjavik theme and then noticed in regards to the Icelander theme that is has “sticky headers”. Our old site has sticky headers in the form of menus that stay in place when the user scrolls down.
However I could not find any examples or explanation of what you meant by “Sticky header”. Where can we see that please?

    2. Also, I replaced the default header image on the home page with our own but it is darkened out in Reykjavik and looks like it will be with Icelander too (with CSS:
    .intro-special .wp-custom-header::before {
    background-color: rgba(0, 0, 0, 0.6);)
and has “Home” text overlaying. Do we override this with CSS or is there a customization setting somewhere? I could not find it in the settings or documentation. So,

    3. How does one search the docs?

    Thank You!

    Hi Eric,

I’m a bit confused now. Please understand that you should open a new ticket for your new issues/questions. Also, is your question related to Reykjavik theme? You see, you’ve mentioned Icelander in there too and you have actually posted your question into Monument Valley theme forum. Please confirm it’s related to Reykjavik theme so I can move this to a new ticket in appropriate forum.

    1. Reykjavik does not include sticky header. Icelander theme does – you can see it on Icelander theme demo. My sticky header works different way than you are used to, most likely. If you scroll the page down, you won’t see it stuck to the top, only if you attempt to scroll up again. That way the focus is 100% on your website content and the header comes into view when needed again.
If you want sticky header all the time, you can try using a plugin (or Beaver Themer).
    2. On front page the intro section of both Reykjavik and Icelander theme is overlaid so the text on top is readable. You can simply remove it or you can use page template not to display intro section and build your own using a page builder.
    3. My theme documentations are one-page documents, so you can easily search directly in your web browser by pressing CTRL+F ;) Also, you can get handy and fast info about what sections the theme consist of and where to set them up in “Anatomy” section of theme documentation.

    Hello Oliver –

My apologies for posting in the Monument Valley section – I didn’t realize and was just using the old thread.
I’ve purchased the Icelander theme (and installed and implemented a child theme) so if you want to move this thread please do.

Thank you for answering my other questions. I understand them now.

    Best,
    Eric
