    hi again,

    I love the background in frontpage, but in single post page the image is really too dark for me.

    To get the colors back a bit in single page, I tried :

    .single-post .site-banner {
        display: none;
    }

    .not-front-page .site-banner img {
    	-webkit-transform: none;
    	        transform: none;
    	-webkit-filter: blur(0px) grayscale(0%) contrast(66%) !important;
    	        filter: blur(0px) grayscale(0%) contrast(66%) !important;
    }

    .testred {color:red}

    the last statement was to check if the custom stylesheet was working or not… it works fine.

    Even the “display:none” had no effect, the background image is still there.

    Would you have any idea to get the colors back?

    Have a nice week-end.

    Hi fxp,

    Please note that the display: none; styles you have used have no effect on this theme version at all. Try using your browser code inspector to determine what custom CSS code you need to apply on the elements you want to style.

    With display: none; styles did you want to hide the intro image there? Then there is no reason to make it colorful again. But if you really want to hide it, here is the custom CSS code you need to use:

    .is-singular .intro-container {
        display: none;
    }

    To switch off the intro image filters and mirroring, use this CSS instead:

    body:not(.home) .intro-media img {
        width: 100%;
        margin: 0;
        -webkit-filter: none;
        filter: none;
        -webkit-transform: none;
        -ms-transform: none;
        transform: none;
    }

    Hi Oliver,

    Your snippet works like a charm.

    (I translated 3 or 4 expressions in french for the home page and navigation from single post to the next: https://translate.wordpress.org/projects/wp-themes/modern/fr/default?page=2 )

    Thanks for your help
    Regards
